The building was born in the 1960s, when Peniche was growing around its port and fishing trade. The solid masonry load-bearing walls — which today keep it quiet and thermally stable — were kept; everything else was renewed: plumbing, electrics, thermal- and acoustic-insulated windows, kitchen and bathroom.
The result is a calm, bright, practical home in a quiet area of Peniche city centre, with parking available and located between the PSP police station and the GNR territorial post. On foot from the sea and the historic centre; a short drive or bike ride from ESTM — Polytechnic of Leiria.
