How does the academic-year application work?

Can I stay for just a few months, not the whole academic year?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there's flexibility for shorter stays for relocated teachers and for digital nomads, subject to availability. Get in touch about the dates you need.

Question 3

Is there a security deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, equal to one month's rent, refunded in full at the end of the contract if there's no damage. Each room's condition is photographed at check-in and check-out.

What expenses are included?

Rent includes Wi-Fi 6 and monthly cleaning of the common areas. Water and electricity are shared proportionally between occupants, with bills always available to see — no hidden costs.

How do I book for July or August?

On the Summer Stays page, pick your available dates on the calendar and send your request with your details. The request stays pending until we confirm availability — no payment is taken at this stage.

Is the whole apartment booked, or just a room?

In summer the apartment is booked in full — all three bedrooms, the living room, kitchen and balcony are just for your group.

How many guests fit in the apartment?

Up to 8 guests, depending on how you split across the three bedrooms and the living room.

Do you accept digital nomads year-round?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In July and August the whole apartment is free; for the rest of the year there's usually a room available to book, subject to availability.

What internet speed can I expect?

Symmetrical 1 Gbps fibre (Wi-Fi 6) throughout the house, fast enough for video calls and heavy uploads without the wait.

Is there a work desk?

Yes, every room has its own dedicated desk — not just a side table.

Is smoking or having pets allowed?

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. Pets are welcome: the whole apartment is pet friendly.

Are there quiet hours?

Quiet hours from 11pm to 8am, respect for shared spaces, and cleaning up after cooking. Parties are not allowed.
